As an ideal candidate, you have practical experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Ruby and Ruby on Rails web applications to support internal users as well as external customers. You’re willing and able to debug code and write documentation. Our team prioritizes teamwork within a geographically diverse team.
As a Senior Engineer, you will:
- Build applications and services used by millions of customers, tens of thousands of merchants, and hundreds of coworkers
- Coordinate with teammates across lines of business and in multiple locations
- Support and improve existing systems while integrating with and creating new development
- Influence the design and implementation of technical and human processes
Qualifications/Requirements:
We are looking for dedicated and pragmatic engineers that enjoy building reliable and well-performing solutions. Well-qualified candidates will have:
- Experience with large applications of some scale
- Exceptional competency in object-oriented programming
- Experience developing in a web framework with Ruby on Rails
- 5+ years experience with Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years experience with Master’s degree
